Summer Camps

Dance Camp

Choreography Camp

In Choreography Camp, dancers ages 9–17 come together to explore the art, craft, and creative process of making dances. Through guided exploration and themed prompts, campers will create solo, duet, and group choreography while developing their individual artistic voice and expressive storytelling skills.

Campers will be supported in shaping movement with intention, experimenting with musicality and structure, and discovering how personal ideas can be translated into meaningful choreography. Along the way, dancers will learn about influential past and present choreographers and examine how dance reflects its historical, cultural, and social context—placing themselves in conversation as choreographers of the future.

The camp will conclude with a short informal performance for family and friends on the final day at 1:30 PM. Camp ends on Friday following the performance.

My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Now at age 11 she has really come to her own as a dancer. At Dance/10 she is not restricted to taking only one type of dance she has the option to participate in all forms of dance.
