Meghan Horowitz is a Los Angeles native and classically trained dancer, having studied under Balanchine Master Yvonne Mounsey. She performed with Los Angeles Ballet, Boston Ballet, and served as a soloist with Santa Monica Dance Theater before earning her BA in Dance and Psychology from Santa Clara University. There, she discovered her choreographic voice and founded the Santa Clara Dance Coalition.

Since 2015, Meghan has served as Artistic Director of South Valley Dance Arts and taught ballet at institutions including San Francisco High School of the Arts, Baypointe Ballet, and Santa Clara Ballet. In 2016, she earned a Balanchine Ballet certificate from Suki Schorer in NYC and continues to pursue advanced training, including ABT and Progressing Ballet Technique certifications.

As a choreographer, Meghan has created original works for San Jose Dance Co, SF Dance Film Festival, Dancing in the Park SF, and more. Her visionary blend of classical vocabulary, innovative movement, and eye for design honors ballet tradition while pushing its creative boundaries.

My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Now at age 11 she has really come to her own as a dancer. At Dance/10 she is not restricted to taking only one type of dance she has the option to participate in all forms of dance.
