Katie Polanshek is originally from a small town near Chicago, IL. In 2007, Katie graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, concentrating on Jazz and Modern. After graduating, she moved to the Bay Area and is currently a member of David Herrera Performance Company in San Francisco. Katie has been teaching and choreograhping dance and movement for children and adults of all ages and levels for 8 years.
